Sierra Nevada installs new Tesla Powerpack to Harness Excess Energy Storage

Our friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. continue to lead the charge (pun intended) for sustainability in the brewing industry. Check out this great new system they have in place utilizing Tesla Powerpacks to harness and store excess energy they produce within their sustainable ecosystem of a brewery. Thank you to Eletrek.co and writer Fred Lambert for a great article!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the North Carolina brewery and it is by far the most amazing craft brewery I have visited and I have been to more than 200 around the country.

Thank you Sierra Nevada for your leadership! The new SIDECAR PALE ALE is amazing!

Cheers.

Beer and Energy - Wastewater Can Help Create New Power Sources

Beer and Energy - Wastewater Can Help Create New Power Sources

The good people at Avery Brewing are helping some very smart engineers find a way to use beer wastewater in the production of a new type of battery. The beer industry is full of amazing talent used in many different ways. The wastewater issue for breweries is a real problem that will need to be solved as the industry continues to grow. More and more breweries are committing time and resources to this issue like New Belgium, Lagunitas, Kona Brewing, and Seismic Brewing to name a few. We want to celebrate and highlight all of those that are interested in how beer can help save our planet.

Keep up the great work!

Drink a beer. Save the planet. Repeat.
